Entertainment
At Evening Grace, we know that each resident is unique and has special need or likes spending time in a certain way. Some of them like to read, to watch movies, to chat one with another or to just stay on the couch and look out the window. But most of them feel the need of something else. That is why, besides some activities organized by our staff, we have also included in our Activity Program third parties that come on a weekly basis to our facilities to entertain us. Take a look at some of the ways our residents spend their time.
Singing with Holly
Every Saturday morning, a great pianist and vocalist of California, Holly Addy is coming to make our residents happy. She plays our own organ or piano and sings along with the residents for more than an hour. She is proficient at playing and cantoning services in English and Spanish as well as singing in German, French or Italian. For more details about Holly, click here.
Games and entertainment with Michael
On every Tuesday afternoon, we are happy to welcome Michael, a professional entertainer that is specialized on seniors. For about one or two hours, Michael plays different memory games or Trivia games with our residents, all based on old movies, music or TV shows that our residents remember and cherish.
Other Social Games available
Several other games are used by our staff on a regular or needed basis, like: domino, bingo, puzzles, backgammon, playing cards, tile rummy, scrabble and memory specific games.
